Assistant coach Todd Cole brings plenty of experience to head coach Doug Delett’s coaching staff for the 2021 Utica Blue Sox.

Cole is a native Acworth, Georgia where he then went on to graduate from MacIntosh High School in Peachtree City, GA in 1986, located roughly two hours north of his hometown of Acworth.

Following his high school days, Cole went on to spend time at four different institutions during his college years, Jacksonville St., Alabama, and Valdosta State before earning his degree from University of Georgia.

Cole would then move on to spend time as a middle infielder for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays of the Toronto Blue Jays organization, as well as a stint with the Detroit Tigers farm system.

Once his playing days came to a close, the coaching career of Cole started as a volunteer assistant coach for Shorter University, a Division II program from the Gulf South Conference in Rome, GA. After that Todd returned to his hometown as an assistant coach for Allatoona High School in Acworth.

In 2002 Todd started his own home-building company, TecBuilt Homes, servicing the Atlanta area.
