UTICA, N.Y.– The Utica Blue Sox announced the signing of Brandon Peterson this week.
The Utica native is one of a handful of local players who will be playing for the Blue Sox this upcoming season.
Peterson, being a local kid, grew up watching the Blue Sox. Now he’ll be able to play for the team that he grew up watching. Sounds like something straight out of a movie script. “I went to the games when I was a kid, so when I got older I got in contact with Juliano and now I’m here.”
The NJIT commit will be one of the younger players on the roster, and he only sees that as a positive. “Being able to get good advice from people who have already had college level experience will only benefit me.”
