UTICA, N.Y.– The Utica Blue Sox announced the signing of Daedrick Cail on Thursday.
The Arkansas native has never been to upstate New York before. However he was all smiles when thinking about the new experiences, people, and memories he would be having with the Blue Sox this upcoming season.
Cail is the definition of a two sport athlete. The 6’0 freshman currently plays baseball at Arkansas State University. The same university he received football offers from. He chose to go the baseball route because, “I’ve always loved baseball but I liked football. I didn’t want to play something I like and lose time trying to get a spot for something I love.”
“I’m ready to go win the tournament, or whatever we’re playing in. Do my thing, and get ready for the next season” said Cail.
