UTICA, N.Y. – The Utica Blue Sox announced Saturday the signing of Troy Hamilton, a
Sophomore from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Hamilton is an infielder from
Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

Currently studying Interdisciplinary Studies, Hamilton has been a huge help to his
team as only a sophomore. Hamilton chose to sign with the Blue Sox for the chance to see more of the country.
Being from Florida this will be his first time in New York. Hamilton also said he has
heard great things about the Blue Sox organization and is excited to get the season
started.
